hello, world

i finally added a blog to jonesy.sh. the bar for "blog" here is low — i just want a place to dump notes between architecture reviews and dj sets.

the stack

no framework. no cms. no react.

• write posts as markdown in posts/
• a tiny node script renders them into blog/<slug>/index.html
• the same style.css the rest of the site uses
• rss at /blog/feed.xml

$ npm run new -- "a new post"
$ npm run build

that's it. if i can't write a post in a single sitting, i probably shouldn't be writing it.

what i'll write about

systems thinking. distributed systems. ai tooling. the occasional karaoke war story. probably some golf course design tangents. probably some grateful dead set notes.

if you want the firehose, point your reader at the rss feed. otherwise, just check back when you're bored.
